Key Features
The Behringer BI-PHASE is an authentic recreation of a classic phase shifter from the 1970s. Now, with Behringer's BI-PHASE, you can tap into this history with a dual phaser that gives you independent control over two phasers at once, allowing you to achieve everything from subtly warbling sounds with a constantly moving stereo field, all the way up to intense oscillations and otherwordly sweeps.
Featuring two sweep generators with independent control over shape and rate, to be routed to either Phasor A or Phasor B, the BI-PHASE allows for extremely in-depth effect design. Twelve opto-couplers provide the maximum number of filter stages possible in an analog phaser design, providing greater capacity for both subtler, more natural effects, as well as aggressively metallic space-age sounds. The BI-PHASE also accepts CV inputs as modulation sources, as well as Sweep Generator sync for more synthetic tones, allowing you to push phase shifting to its absolute limits.

Phaser effects have a long and storied history, dating back to the late 60s. Initially designed to emulate the rotary cabinets often used by organs, phasers were found to have a unique, dreamy characteristic that made them fast favourites of figures such as Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, and Eddie Van Halen, as well as synth pioneers like Jean-Michel Jarre, Tony Banks, and Daft Punk.
An accurate ground-up emulation of a classic vintage phaser from the 70s, the BI-PHASE provides a unique dual-phaser design that lets you make the most of the capabilities this effect can have. Carefully and accurately remade by Behringer, the BI-PHASE puts vintage wobble into your pedalboard. See why phasing has become a signature sound for guitar and synth legends alike by opening up every possibility for your sounds.
Thanks to its design and feature-set, the BI-PHASE accepts CV inputs, sweep sync, and cross-modulation through feedback control, making this updated classic effect a powerhouse of sound design. All from a single effect, you can get everything from lush, subtle stereo warbling to metallic ring-modulation effects, as well as all kinds of dreamy, spacey sounds in-between.
