ML Shaped Mahogany Body

The ML features an impressive body shape which is guaranteed to make a strong statement on any stage. The ML shape was created by Dean Zelinsky in 1977 with the idea of spreading the mass of the body over a larger area, in order to maximise sustain and improve tone.

Smooth, Comfortable Neck

The Dean Dimebag Black Bolt has a smooth, C-profile, maple neck for extra comfort. Fitted with a bolt-on neck, the guitar can achieve sharp and firm metal tones with ultimate snap and twang.

Pair of Screaming DMT Humbuckers

Equipped with a pair of screaming DMT Design Humbuckers, consisting of the DMT Taped and the DMT Blade, which together help with creating the ultimate on-stage performance. Assisted by the Grover tuners, Floyd Rose Special bridge and DBD Traction knobs, the electronics on this Black Bolt are definitely up to Dimebag's own standard.

The Legacy of Dimebag

The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late '70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag MLs to choose from, all boasting Dimebag's distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude.
