The Invader pickup is powered by a combination of specially overwound coils and three large ceramic magnets, producing a larger magnetic field and widening the frequency spectrum. This allows the Black V to deliver the signature metal tone with the thickest, and deepest, low end response while ensuring chords sound deep yet remain balanced with the crunchy treble that keeps everything well defined.
Scalloped Fingerboard
Incorporating a speedy scalloped fretboard The Black V provides advanced playability and sustain due to the slight indent (scallop) in each of the frets. This uncommon fretboard treatment also provides smooth and quick string bending, slides and quick licks, perfect for high speed shredding.
About Karl Sanders
Born in 1963, Karl Sanders is an American guitarist most widely known as the founding member of the ancient Egyptian-themed technical death metal band Nile. Having also released solo music and making guest appearances on other bands albums, Karl Sanders became endorsed by Dean and released the Black Flying V signature model.
