Solid Alder Body & Quilted Maple Top

Alder is favoured by most players for its incredibly balanced tone, offering the perfect dynamic range suitable for most musical styles. The alder body is perfect for a variety of playing styles as its excellent sustain and resonance ensures each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange sets up the foundation of the guitar's overall tonality, allowing players to achieve the perfect sounds for most situations. The body is topped with quilted maple, enhancing the guitar's natural brightness and creating a unique aesthetic.

Bolt-On Maple Neck & Fingerboard

The ESP ST-1 features a maple neck and fingerboard, creating a beautifully bright tone with even harmonics and a powerful fundamental character. The maple tonewood is the perfect choice for producing clear and present notes, with its strong sustain and sharp bite adding extra detail to the top end while tightening up the low-end. Its bolt-on construction enhances the overall tone with more treble and attack than traditional set-necks, offering plenty of articulation and upper fret access. The neck also features a thin-U profile, allowing players to easily reach across the entire fingerboard without losing any comfort.

Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Plus & Pearly Gates Pickups

The ESP E-II Guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Plus single-coil pickups and a Pearly Gates humbucker, delivering loud, PAF-like tones without any single-coil hum. The Classic Stack Plus pickups are hand tuned to deliver warm, bell-like tones, with a strong treble response and a soothing bass to create a classic sparkle and chime. Both pickups feature a special bottom coil to provide a negative hum for the ultimate noiseless performance, while the middle pickup also features a reverse wind reverse polarity setup to offer the perfect in-between sound when split with the bridge and neck pickups. The Pearly Gates humbucker captures the sound of the original bridge ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbon used, offering a PAF tone with extra midrange sizzle to allow pinch harmonics to sing. Its alnico 2 magnet keeps the pickups high-end airy and focus, emphasising the midrange to deliver a unique Texas sizzle.

Floyd Rose Original Tremolo

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by addition of the locking nut at the end of the headstock.
