The slick, Black Satin look of the Eclipse-I CTM is added to by striking chrome hardware, high-quality Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and flag inlays on the ebony fingerboard. The CTM features custom multi-ply binding on the maple body top.

The Eclipse-I CTM combines the professional maple-topped solid mahogany body with a set neck that's just as specialist but easy to play due to it's thin U-shaped contour. This allows for fast playing to suit the heavy, shredding style that ESP guitars are celebrated for.
