The ESP LTD EC-1000T/CTM is crafted with a mahogany body which delivers a warm and resonant tone with excellent levels of sustain. The body features the classic EC shape, with a classic single-cutaway design and extended contouring to provide enhanced playing comfort. The set-through joint provides exceptional sustain and resonance, combined with an incredibly smooth neck heel for unhindered top-fret access.

Smooth & Comfortable Mahogany Neck

The EC-1000T/CTM's neck has a fast playing-feel courtesy of its thin "U"-shaped profile and flat 350mm fingerboard radius for excellent balance and reach across the strings. The sturdy and durable 3-piece mahogany neck is coupled with a dark ebony fingerboard, which enhances the overall sound with incredibly bright attack and snappy tones.

Powerful EMG Humbuckers

A pair of EMG humbuckers give the LTD EC-1000T/CTM the active power it requires for a fierce, metal performance. The EMG 81 bridge pickup is one of the most popular EMG designs, created for extreme note articulation and power. Featuring powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the EMG 81 gives you the sustain you need for fluid soloing and the clarity required for complex chords and riffing. The EMG 60 neck pickup is the ideal partner to the 81, providing rich overtones with a full treble response for distinct single-note solos.

The Tonepros Locking TOM and Tailpiece is a fixed, locking design, providing incredible tuning stability and optimum string vibration transfer. The bridge allows you to set up the perfect string action and intonation, while the LTD locking tuners ensure your strings are firmly locked in place to support active performances on stage and in the studio.
