The Hofner J17-E2 guitar has been developed to offer a full depth archtop using the skills and know how from more than 80 years of archtop design. This particular model was made with those early Rock n Roll groups in mind such as Bill Haley and The Comets. Comes complete with twin humbucking pickups, so you can achive a wide variety of tones and certainly obtain that great mid 50s Rock n Roll sound.

Founded in 1864, Hofner's comprehensive range of guitars draws on the firms long-standing success making precision string instruments for musicians. The Beatles' Sir Paul McCartney played a Hofner Violin Bass, and the company's superb attention to detail and stylish design has continued to inspire both rock and jazz musicians to this day.
