Fender Special Run electric guitars have been specifically commissioned at the request of individual retailers, and built to their specifications. FSR are not regular production models and are more unique compared to models that are available all year round. This Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline in Lake Placid Blue is exclusive to Gear4music whilst stocks last.

Thinline Body

Crafted with a thinline ash body, the Vintage Modified Telecaster weighs much less than a regular solid bodied guitar, providing you will a comfortable instrument that be played all night long. With its semi-acoustic, half chambered design, this guitar offers a powerful, resonant tone when used acoustically, and is ideal for practicing when loud volume is not permitted. The ornate "F" hole provides both looks and function, as it allows the sound to be projected forward and resonate with rich warm tones.

Duncan Designed Pickups

As well as offering an acoustic resonant tone through the use of a semi-acoustic construction, the Vintage Modified Telecaster is also equipped with a pair of Duncan Designed pickups, from Seymour Duncan. Featuring a TE-101B Single-Coil in the bridge position that delivers a warm bluesy tone, and a TE-101N on the neck for rich jangley tones.

C-Shaped Neck Profile

The Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline features a "C"-shaped neck profile, which leaves a small pocket of space between the palm of the players hand and the guitar neck, providing ultimate comfort and easier access to the frets. This particular neck profile is common with many Squier and Fender Basses, and as it allows the players fingers move freely across the fingerboard, and therefore offers optimum performance.

Six Saddle Bridge

The Vintage Modified Telecaster features a brilliant 6-Saddle vintage-style bridge, which compliments the chrome hardware and adds a focal point to the guitar. This 'ash-tray' style bridge is crafted from steel just like the original models and features six modern saddles that offer enhanced intonation and height adjustment. Overall, it provides you with a reliable guitar with superb accuracy and adjust-ability.
