Since being released in the UK in 2010, the Tramontane range has impressed many guitarists by offering both style and quality while balancing an affordable price. At NAMM 2010, the editor of Music. Inc Magazine, Zach Philips said of the Tramontanes: "This line solves the problem of finding a well-made beginner to mid-range acoustic guitar. [They] play like guitars at twice that price." These guitars went on to be awarded NAMM 2010's Best in Show Award.
Featuring a popular dreadnought shape, the Tramontane T66D offers a bold tone with powerful projection due to its rounded shoulders and boxy design. With a host of versatile tones, this choice of body shape is ideal for variety of genres, from rock to folk, indie to punk.
The Tramontane T66D is beautifully crafted with a sitka spruce top, that genrates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles. Sitka spruce is a popular choice for guitar tops as its delivers crisp articulation, and stunning grain.
In addition to this beautiful blonde top, a Gaboon mahogany body and neck are also incorporated in this tonal mix.
