The pickups provide excellent performance, and the sound can be easily shaped with the pair of Volume and Master Tone controls. Single-coil pickups are characterised by their ability to produce an extremely open sound.
Magnificent tonewood blend
Powerful tone at all pitches. The Squier Classic Vibe 60s Jazz Bass' combination of tonewoods affords it brilliant tonal balance and fantastic versatility. A solid poplar body provides you with meaty, full-bodied tones that allow you to play with amazing depth. Every bassline you play will deliver electrifying, thumping power.
The Squier Classic Vibe 60s Jazz Bass is just as capable of delivering dynamic mid-range notes and sparkling highs, too. A maple neck topped with an Indian laurel fingerboard are perfect for this. You'll be able to deliver punchy, high-pitched bass solos that will slice straight through a mix and be heard with clarity and sharpness. The Squier Jazz Bass will give you supreme sound quality anywhere along the fretboard. A wonderful all-rounder.
Resonant synthetic bone nut
Featuring a carefully fitted synthetic bone nut, the Fender delivers an increased resonance and bright tonality. When compared to traditional plastic and Tusq materials used to construct guitar nuts, synthetic bone improves the vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.
About Fender Jazz Bass
The Fender Jazz Bass was the second model of electric bass created by Fender. This bass guitar is often described as being different from its other famous counterpart, the Precision Bass, because of its brighter tone and richer midrange and treble. This is often quoted as being the reason it's the choice of many bass players the world over.
Many of today's most well-known Jazz Bass Guitar players are linked with Squier Bass Guitars. Boasting names like Marcus Miller, Squire by Fender Jazz Bass Guitars are the choice of generations of Bass Players and are likely to be for many years to come.
