The Yamaha DXS15 Active Subwoofer is capable of up to 950-watt peak power thanks to the efficient Class-D amplifier. The 2.5 inch voice coil and 15 inch woofer combine to deliver sound reproduction full of clarity and refined bass tones. An innovative D-XSUB bass processing system gives users full control over low frequency levels with three different modes (Normal, Boost, Xtended LF). An extremely impressive 132dB SPL provides outstanding levels of output without distorting the sound. With LINE-X coating, the DSX15 is extremely well protected to damage and the compact housing ensures easy transportation and storage.

Thunderous Bass Performance

Contributing to the overall powerful performance of the DXS15 is the 950W amplifier. With an outstanding sound pressure level of 132dB, the speaker emits tones with minimal distortion even at high output levels. The 2.5" voice coil magnet ensures a defined, low-frequency bass. This low frequency can be controlled via the D-XSUB bass processing system. The 'NORMAL' mode gives users the ideal, balanced response, whilst 'BOOST' delivers a more refined bass. 'XTENDED LF' mode provides a monstrous bottom end by dropping the low-frequencies down even further than normal.
