Key Features
Product Ref: 95405
One of the most prominent features of the Cwejman RG-6 Random Noise Generator is the wide variety of dedicated outputs. The three outputs to the left of the module are random spread probability waveforms, providing similar characteristics to sample and hold functions. The three sample and hold type outputs are in the form of Low, Normal and High settings. Each generate their own tones, with varying ranges on each output. You can use the outputs to connect to other modules simultaneously for optimal versatility. The other four outputs are comprised of clock, two saw outputs and a gate output. The clock output is ideal for use with sequencers and other movement-based modules. The random saw outputs come in the form of a negative and positive patch points, creating varied tones for added flexibility. The final output generates a gate signal which can be used for a range of sound design applications.
The Cwejman RG-6 features a comprehensive control section featuring 9 rotary controls in total. The control section is comprised of Clock Rate, Slew Rate, Slop, Rate CV Level, 2 x CV Level, Sampling Signal Level, Threshold and Length rotary controls. The voltage controllable slew rate helps to smooth out the stepped voltages for a more rounded sound. The slope control is designed to change the level and polarity of the Sawtooth waveforms. Random gate signals are created, dependant on the random sawtooth control. When the saw signal exceeds the adjustable threshold, a gate signal is generated, with controllable length. The clock rate also comes complete with a two-position switch for toggling between Audio and LF frequency ranges.
In addition to the dedicated outputs, the Cwejman RG-6 provides you with a variety of input patch points. There are eight connections in total including Ext Signal, Clock Rate, Clock Sync, Slew Rate, Slope, Gate Threshold and Gate Length. You can use these patch points to control the module via external modules and instruments such as synthesizer or clock devices. The ergonomic layout also features two LED lights for the Clock and The Gate outputs, which provide visual correspondence of when the parameters are in use.
