The Tycoon 30th Anniversary Celebration Conga is constructed from hand-selected American ash, with a special production process to accentuate the natural grain of the wood. This means that each individual drum is unique. This 30'' tall conga has a 16.25'' belly to help produce rich, focused mid-range tones. Fitted with brushed chrome-plated Classic Pro hoops, the Tycoon 30th Anniversary Celebration Conga provides accurate, reliable, and consistent tuning capabilities which can be finely adjusted using the 3/8'' diameter tuning lugs.
Consistency is key. A unique technique provides the distinctive black finish to the water buffalo skin heads, to match the finish on the drum. This provides an impressively smart aesthetic without compromising the tone of the drum.

Tycoon was founded in Bangkok, Thailand and has manufactured excellence in the musical instruments industry for the past 37 years. As the only hand-percussion brand to own its own factory, Tycoon is able to focus heavily on the quality of its instruments, ensuring perfection in each individual product.
Making a difference
All of the woods used in the Tycoon factory come from environmentally friendly sources. The population of trees is carefully monitored, and new trees are planted roughly every 20 years once they are no longer able to produce natural rubber. These efforts ensure that the production process will never lead to deforestation or disturb wildlife. Any leftover materials are reused, allowing them to produce less waste and reduce their environmental footprint.
