Product Ref: 125052
Incorporating a single DMT split coil pickup in the bridge position the Hillsboro junior offers a full and defined tone with a deep low response and crisp high pop perfect for a range of bass styles. What’s more, the position of the pickups and black caps offer a perfect thumb rest for finger style players.
Offering a shorter scale length (30 inch) than the standard 34 inch bass scale, the Hillsboro Junior provides a smooth, comfortable and compact playability for younger players. The scaled down length can also be beneficial to players beginning to learn bass, or switching from guitar as it provides a more manageable length without sacrificing any of the signature Dean tone.
Established in 1976 in Illinois by Dean Zelinsky, the Dean Guitar company quickly became the “go to” manufacturer for hard wearing distinctive guitars. Now synonymous with both rock and metal genres, Dean Guitars have always maintained their position at the forefront of guitar design, as well as technological advancement in the manufacture of quality instruments designed specifically for louder playing styles.
