A design that's as synonymous to Dean as the man who helped popularise the shape (the late great Dimebag Darrell), the unique ML body is guaranteed to make a strong statement on any stage. The ML shape was created by Dean Zelinsky in 1977, with the idea of spreading the mass of the body over a larger area. This helps maximise sustain and improve the overall tone.
The surprisingly comfortable body is fitted with a C-shaped neck. This type of profile offers a smooth feel across the entire fingerboard, letting you deliver solos and leads in comfort. Its headstock features the classic V-shaped design, increasing the strings' angles and length to enhance the overall sustain. So you can let each note soar through the mix.
