They then developed Spirit, which is responsible for pumping out tube amp sounds without a tube in sight. This new technology gives this amp the roar, crunch, and intensity of a tube amp – but with all the benefits and features you would expect on a modelling amp. It's perfect.

Shape your sound

The possibilities are endless. The vast control section of the Black Spirit 200 gives you absolute command over your tone. There's the standard, responsive three band EQ, which lets you dial in your bass, mid, and treble frequencies for your ideal sound. This is just scratching the surface, though. You can also save up to 128 of your favourite tones in the amp instantly using the store button – no more constant fiddling around with knobs.

You'll have four channels to play with, consisting of clean, crunch, lead, and ultra. Each ranges in intensity, from pristine, sparkling cleans to downright dirty, saturated, high gain mayhem. Each channel also has its own set of controls, so you'll always be able to find the tone you want. Built-in digital reverb, delay, and modulation effects also let you add some serious flair to your licks, whilst the FX loop lets you connect your own effects to the amp. There's also a unique power sag knob, which lets you adjust the power amp sag no matter what volume you're playing at.

The Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speaker is the best of the best – it belts out quality tone and brings out every little detail in the music you're playing. In addition, you can capture your searing tones with the Red Box AE+, the industry leading tool for sending your tone to a mixer, recording device, or PA. This also has a cab selection option, ranging from a 1x12 cab to a 4x12.
