The Pilgrim New World features a solid spruce top that yields crisp articulation and a broad dynamic range. Its solid spruce top delivers a wide, very usable, dynamic tonal palette. Spruce is quite elastic in nature, which resonates well whilst remaining strong, and provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright highs. Its sonically-versatile spruce top is coupled with solid maple back and sides which produce crystal clear clarity, as well as singing bright highs, with a strong upper mid-section. With the New World's A style body and combination of tonewoods, the bluegrass enthusiast is certain to adore the playability and tone projected.

Solid Maple Neck & Blackwood Fingerboard

Constructed from maple, the New World's neck is dense, hard, and strong, offering the player strength, stability as well as great sustain. Maple's nature gives it a highly reflective tone which focuses more energy onto the body wood. The overall tone produced from the solid maple neck is bright with plenty of bite and sustain. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a blackwood fingerboard that adds a bright attack with a nice tight bottom end to the mandolin's overall sound.

Real Bone Nut

The Pilgrim New World Mandolin features a real bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance.
