Key Features
Distinctive in design, Dean always brings an attitude to their vision. The Dean MLX Flame Top Electric Guitar carries this tradition further.
Dean believes that increasing the string angle adds resonance. They do this by utilising a larger headstock to increase string length, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a V-plate to maximise sustain. Completed with the custom DMT designed pickups - pick a guitar that is played by the rock elite.

The ML is an impressive body shape which is guaranteed to make a strong statement on stage. The ML shape was created by Dean Zelinsky in 1977 with the idea of spreading the mass of the body over a large area, in order to maximise sustain and improve tone. The ML was named posthumously with the initials of Zelinsky's friend Matthew Lynn who had died.
Loaded with two DMT Designed pickups in the bridge and neck position, this Dean MLX FM guitar delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and sparkling highs. Perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres the DMT Designed humbuckers are extremely versatile and particularly excel when used for hard rock and metal.
Crafted with a unique flame maple top and a charcoal burst finish, this guitar has a stunning vintage appearance.
The Dean MLX Flame Top has a smooth, C-profile, maple neck for that extra comfort. Fitted with a bolt-on neck, the guitar can achieve sharp and firm metal tones with ultimate snap and twang.
