Dean's Metalman series of basses are designed for one thing - metal. Its body features a visually stunning V shape in a classic black finish, emphasising its metal silhouette and giving you a powerful stage presence. Despite its name and looks, the Metalman V is designed with tone, sustain, and playability in mind.
Its body is crafted from basswood, giving you a lightweight and a balanced tone. The neck features the classic C-shape profile, letting you hand move swiftly across the entire fingerboard. The Dean V Bass is also equipped with high-quality hardware, keeping your strings and tuning stable while also enhancing the overall sustain.
Destructive DMT tones
To reflect its metal looks, the Dean Metalman V Bass is equipped with a single DMT Design soapbar pickup to give it beautifully destructive tones. The soapbar pickup is great for delivering strong tones with plenty of crunch and fatness. The DMT provides you with an incredibly beefy soundscape, with an advanced bass response and defined midrange.
