The Ibanez AF200 Artstar Prestige 2018 in Brown Sunburst is a hollow body guitar designed to take you back to the sounds and the styles of a by-gone era. It combines the design features of a vintage guitar with Ibanez's own Super 58 pickups for a vintage-inspired bite and smooth sound, depending on your control adjustments. The hollow body gives a lovely warmth and resonance; it is crafted from spruce and flamed maple for a quick response to every input from the player. A mahogany/maple neck is glued into the body to give optimum vibration transfer and a wonderfully ergonomic left-hand feel. Hollow Body & Resonant Tonewoods

The AF200 is designed to offer the warmth, resonance, and a complex tone with plenty of "air". Its hollow body design gives your sound incredible nuance and the guitar has a strong response to every little detail of your playing. The AF200 has a spruce top that creates a bright and open sound, while the flamed maple body assists with the guitar's brightness and sustain. The top and back are finished with a stunning brown sunburst finish that is highly reminiscent of many classic guitar designs.

A mahogany/maple neck keeps the guitar stable while enhancing the sustain and resonance. The ebony fingerboard adds low-end articulation to your notes, so you'll be rewarded with a fast pick-attack for any style of playing.

Smooth Playability

The AF200 features 20 frets that are finished with Ibanez's Artstar Fret Edge Treatment. This gives them a rounded shape and a wonderfully smooth playing surface, helping you create liquid-smooth vibratos and slides. The neck has a comfortable and balanced neck profile that is 20mm thick at the 1st fret, gradually increasing to 22mm by the 12th fret.

The fingerboard features a 305mm radius for an ideal balance between chordal comfort and soloing capabilities.
