Quality tonewoods
Reassuringly weighted and dynamic, Basswood is an excellent tonewood that makes the Select suitable for a broad range of musical styles. Thanks to its medium weight build it offers exceptional volume and tone, making it a great choice for both rhythm and lead performance styles.
The Knoxville Select's maple neck and laurel fretboard allows the guitar to effortlessly cut through the densest of arrangements. It offers a tight bass response, fantastic sustain and incredible levels of attack. This is a perfect choice for those who regularly use distortion pedals and strive for a tone that packs a punch.
High spec components
Each component on the Knoxville Select has been chosen by our team of specialists to guarantee an unparalleled playing experience.
The vintage style Hardtail T-Type Ashtray offers three adjustable saddles which can be independently adjusted to achieve the right action and intonation that works for you. This can be altered with the complimentary Allen key included.
Single coil pickups are known for their bright, sharp and clear ring with the neck pickup producing a mellow but full twang and the bridge emitting a clean, acoustic-like resonance. The Knoxville's pickup configuration with three way tone switch also offers a crisp articulate tone with exceptional low end depth, punch and sustain that will separate your guitar from the crowd.
Maximum aesthetic appeal
Not only does this guitar sound the part, it looks it too. The retro-inspired soft pink finish ensures it will seamlessly integrate into any aficionados' collection, holding its own against guitars well above its price point. Our specialist ageing process means that each Knoxville's finish and hardware has its own subtle differences in burns, scrapes, scratches and dents, ensuring you'll receive a guitar that is unique to you.
Thin, narrow and rounded. The Knoxville Select's C-shaped neck is incredibly smooth, allowing you to progress up and down the fretboard with ease. It is ideal for a broad range of musical styles and will suit most players.
The ageing process applied to the neck ensures a "comfortable", "worn-in" feel. This has been achieved by sanding away the lacquer and then rubbing it down with high grit rate sand paper to create the illusion of extended use. Finally, a dark staining is applied as the perfect finishing touch which is sealed into the neck with lineseed oil for preservation.
Accessory pack included
To ensure you're ready to hit the ground running, the Knoxville Select comes complete with a comprehensive accessory pack, consisting of a lightweight gigbag, strap, cable, plectrums and Allen keys.
