Solid Cedar Top

The La Patrie Concert CW QIT features a stunning select pressure tested solid cedar top. The manufacturing process of pressure testing each solid top ensures they have the highest levels of stiffness and rigidity, along with maximum harmonic vibration. This process is becoming more and more popular with guitar manufacturing as it benefits the overall tone, projection, and resonance of a guitar. It is this combination of quality, rigidity, and flexibility that gives the top its incredible resonance and stunning appearance.

The La Patrie Guitar is also environmentally friendly, as the wood used for the top is found only in Cedar trees that have previously fallen. Cedar is well known for its distinctive straight grain and red-brown tones, as well as being a particular common choice for finger-style players.

Custom Polish for a Custom Appearance

Like all guitars from La Patrie, the Concert series features a stunning custom polished finish inspired by the appearance of French polish of the 19th Century. Rather than applying a thick coat of polish like standard classical guitars, the La Patrie's custom finish is thinner to allow the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, while also offering plenty of protection from the elements. This type of finish also delivers a better sound the older it gets, making it a worthwhile investment.

Classic Cutaway Design

The cutaway is a popular feature on many guitars, consisting of an indentation in the upper bout of the body. Its function is to simply allow easier access to the higher frets, providing you with more freedom around the fingerboard.

Innovative Double Function Truss Rod

The Concert CW QIT Guitar is also equipped with an innovative double-function truss rod system within its mahogany neck. Truss rods are never normally featured on classical guitars, having always been made with thick neck dimensions, yet its function on the La Parie Acoustic allows for a slimmer neck profile. This clever truss rod system offers extraordinary comfort, while increasing stability.

Q1T Electronics

The addition of Godin's Q1T electronics provides the La Patrie Concert with an incredible performance designed for the studio and stage. This streamlined setup features a responsive saddle-transducer and an easy to use preamp section mounted to the side of the guitar. Operating this preamp is quick and easy with it rotary controls for volume, treble, and bass, letting you deliver on-the-fly tone tweaking. The transducer and EQ section have been specially contoured to bring out the rich characteristics of your tone, providing a full reproduction of your sound for a powerful playing experience. A built-in tuner is also added, ensuring your guitar remains in tune in any environment.

A beautiful guitar wouldn't be complete without the final touches. The La Patrie Concert CW is nicely finished off with an intricate rosette, cream binding, and rosewood bridge, as well as a cream Tusq nut and a fully compensated saddle by Graphtech.
