The cat's out the bag. The Behringer CAT Synth brings another vintage synth back into the limelight, with this faithful recreation of a classic. The Behringer CAT bases its design on a classic monophonic synth from the mid '70s. The original was similar to an Odyssey-style synth, boasting two VCOS (with suboscillators), a VCF, VCA, two envelope generators and an LFO. The pure analog circuitry ensures you capture the same sound that made the original so sought-after.
The authentic CAT SRM circuitry features matched transistors for a truly vintage soundscape. Whilst staying true to the original, the Behringer CAT incorporates MIDI and USB connectivity, making it perfect for use with DAWs and music production. The ergonomic layout and compact design features sliders for both oscillators, as well as a wide range of controls for shaping your sound.

The original Wasp was first conceived in 1978 and was one of the first monophonic synths to use touch-sensitive keys. The pure analog signal path lent to its unique sound it delivered. Behringer have brought this unsung hero back to life, modernising it with the inclusion of MIDI and USB connectivity, a sleek desktop unit. The compact design is also compatible with the Eurorack format, allowing you to add the Behringer Wasp to your Eurorack setup. You can also use the Poly Chain function to combine multiple synths for up to 16-voice polyphony
Genre-defying, powerful tones
Coming from the late '70s, the original Wasp was coveted for its ability to create big fat tones, ideal for the rising wave of synth-pop and progressive-rock. The two oscillators are highly flexible, providing three variable waveforms each. The waveforms are comprised of square wave, sawtooth and a unique "enhanced mode" which delivers added punchy and clarity. You can adjust the oscillator's tone across a wide five-octave range. The first oscillator allows you to adjust the waveshape via the Width knob. The second oscillator employs a pitch control which can be adjusted against the first oscillator’s pitch for unique modulation effects.

The Behringer D comprises of 3 punchy oscillators, each coming with a range of waveforms for sound design including sawtooth, triangle, square, pulse and more. These are ideal for creating raw sounding, deep basslines, screaming leads, evolving textures, completely mangled FX, and everything in between. The oscillators come equipped with a detune control knob, for thickening up your sounds, as well as a wide switchable octave range.
You also have 3 individual rotary knobs for controlling the volume levels, allowing you to precisely mix in each oscillator. Whether you're creating sound for music, film, or games, the Behringer D is ideal, and provides you with a wide sound palette. The Behringer Model D is a powerful desktop synth that offers endless synthesis possibilities. Create everything from modern-day electronic sounds, to old-school sci-fi film sounds.
Extensive sound design controls
The Behringer D Analog Synthesizer provides the essential controls for shaping and moulding your sound. Included is a voltage controlled filter, which is selectable between low-pass and high-pass. The filter features controls for cutoff as well as resonance, providing you with a deep and smooth filter. The Filter can also be modulated, allowing you to change the timbre and tone of your sound to create evolving textures, and percussive style basses. Apart from the filter, the Behringer Model D offers glide, allowing you to add slide to between notes.
Versatile modulation options
The Behringer D also offers a range of modulation options, allowing you to choose between LFO 3 or noise as your modulation source. Adjust the depth and LFO rate to create evolving sounds and textures. You also have control over your attack, decay, and sustain, allowing you to control the dynamics to produce a range of different tones. Additionally, there is also white and pink noise sources available, allowing you to add high frequencies to sounds to create wind FX and more.

The Behringer 3-Tier Eurorack Stand is a robust synth stand providing you with up to 104HP of space, perfect for storing Behringer semi-modular synths or a skiff case. The Behringer 3-Tier Stand is perfect for accommodating desktop-based synths and modular systems. It provides the space to install 3 x 70HP synths such as the Wasp, Cat and Model D synths.
You can also use differing configurations to store 3 x 80HP (Neutron, K2, Pro 1) or you can use it with the 104HP Eurorack cases. The stand is made from power-coated aluminium and is easy to assemble. The robust yet slimline design is perfect for use at home or on the stage, allowing you to try out different synth and module configurations to create your own versatile synth system. It also leaves space at the back, so you can access synth connections with ease.
