This signature model pays tribute to the sound and style of famed jazz organist Joey DeFrancesco. The onboard organ models are clones of three tonewheel organs from Joey's private instrument collection, with the sound profiles and related effects personally tuned by him. Finished with a slick, satin black aesthetic, the organ also features Joey's signature on the front.
The Viscount Legend Live Portable Organ uses the very latest in physical modelling technology in order to perfectly replicate the sound of a classic tonewheel organ. The advanced simulation perfectly models important idiosyncrasies of the vintage tone such as octave tapers, tonewheel flutter, electric hum, and crosstalk. Viscount's Tonewheel Modelling Technology (TMT) is also responsible for the excellent rotary speaker simulation found on this instrument.
