Included in the ATM350UcW package is the ATM350acW cardioid condenser microphone, featuring a fixed-charge design suitable for both live-sound and studio applications. This is the wireless version of the ATM350a, and connects to all Audio Technica UniPack body-pack wireless transmitters via the locking 4-pin connection at the end of its cable. The ATM350acW delivers exceptionally precise and consistent reproduction of a wide range of instrumentation, from brass, to piano, and even drums. The mic is fitted with a flexible UniMount 5'' gooseneck, enabling you to achieve the perfect microphone position, whilst being rigid enough to maintain that position throughout even the most aggressive playing. The cardioid polar pattern of the microphone allows for superior isolation of your desired sound source, and includes a permanently attached 1.4m miniature cable. The microphone is enclosed within a rugged housing featuring a hard-wearing black finish with ultra-low reflectivity. There is no power module included with the ATM350acW, so there is no low-cut/HPF function with this microphone.
The universal clip-on mount included in this kit is crafted from metal for excellent durability in all applications, and is lined with rubber for excellent shock-resistance, secure mounting, and protection for your instrument. This specially designed mount ensures minimal contact with the instrument, providing excellent isolation when close-miking with no effect on the natural sound of your instrument, whilst a locking screw holds your mount securely in place.
