You may also use streaming services such as Tidal and Amazon Music that support high quality 24bit/192kHz playback, which requires a high-quality DAC to decode audio at this resolution.
Portable DAC amplifiers give you the ability to obtain high quality audio anywhere you go, and the iFi Audio xDSD Gryphon Pro goes above and beyond. Designed around an extensive arrangement of premium capacitors and chips from renowned manufacturers such as TDK, Panasonic and Texas Instruments, the xDSD Gryphon Pro offers ultra-res pulse code modulation up to an impressive 32-bit/768kHz via its USB-C input and 24-bit/192kHz via its optical /coaxial input.
Versatile connectivity and wireless capability
In addition to its class-leading digital audio conversion and playback quality, the xDSD Gryphon Pro features versatile connection capability. Complete with an advanced 5.1 generation 96kHz Bluetooth receiver that is optimised for high quality streaming, supporting high-definition Bluetooth formats including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, and HWA/LHDC codecs. This allows you to plug in any analog headphones into the xDSD Gryphon Pro and wirelessly stream the highest quality audio available over Bluetooth.
An analog 3.5mm jack and a balanced ¼ inch TRS jack output allows you to plug all standard headphones into the xDSD Gryphon Pro. With a built in iEMatch switch you can adjust the device to suit whichever size TRS jack you use, and in addition to the USB-C and digital coaxial input, it also features two analog inputs on the back of the device. These two inputs are identical to the headphone outputs, and allow the Gryphon Pro to be utilised with analog equipment as a premium headphone amp, bypassing the DAC.
Effortless control and sonic customisation
The front of the interface hosts the multi-function control knob, the settings button, and the Bluetooth pairing button. With the multi-function knob, you can turn the device on and off, attenuate the volume, mute and unmute audio output, and browse the settings menu when you press the corresponding button; its volume attenuation properties are analog, giving you a smooth and clean gain. Customising the xDSD Gryphon Pro to your preferences is easy, you can access unique sonic tailoring settings such as XBass II and XSpace.
XBass II is an analog bass boost that pronounces the low end without muddying the mid-range, and XSpace is an analog headphone spacialiser that recreates a holographic sound field, portraying the sound to your ears as if you were listening to a high quality sound system. Furthermore, the xDSD Gryphon Pro features three digital filtering modes: Bit Perfect(BP), Gibbs Transient Optimised(GTO), and Standard(STD). You can change all the settings on the stylish LED screen on top of the interface.

Combining the technology of previous models, the compact xDSD Gryphon Pro is the smallest device to feature the proprietary PureWave advanced, symmetrical dual-mono circuit topologies found in premium iFi devices.
