External power supply with nine selectable polar patterns

Complete with the Mangabey Tube microphone is an external power supply unit that also allows you to toggle between the nine selectable polar patterns on offer. The polar patterns are comprised of: Omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, figure-8 and five other intermediate patterns. The five unique intermediate patterns provide a blend between certain polar patterns to achieve a unique sound. The multi-pattern design ensures the microphone is ready for any sound source and any recording requirement, from podcasting and interviews to studio-grade vocal recordings.

Complete with shock mount and 7-pin cable

Since tube elements require additional power to record, the Mangabey comes complete with an external power supply as well as a 7-pin connection cable. The robust cable features a braided outer jacket for optimal durability, ensuring a long lifespan. Also included is a silver shock mount that eliminates structure-borne noises whilst recording, ensuring you get the best possible take, every single time. It also helps to isolate the microphone for hands-free recording, resulting in increased intelligibility.
