The DELTA 2 is a phantom-powered microphone that features reduce sensitivity. This allows it capture incredibly powerful signals from instruments and sources such as brass without overloading its internal preamp circuit. It is ideal for use on guitar amps and cabinets both in the studio and on stage, capturing every element of your sound and providing you with perfect sound reproduction.
It is also ideal for recording trumpets, trombones, saxophones and drums. The DELTA 2 has been designed to deliver a sound that needs very little gain and no EQ, providing you with a great tone as soon as it's set up, allowing it to sit perfectly in a live mix. The figure-of-eight pickup pattern will pickup sound from the front and the back of the microphone, whilst also providing a wide frequency response.
