Eight additional RGB backlit pads
The Yamaha Finger Drum Pad FGDP50 comes equipped with eight RGB Pads that can be freely assigned Voices. This means you have complete control over which sounds are triggered by each Pad, allowing for endless creative possibilities. Whether you're layering different drum sounds or adding unique effects to your performance, these additional Pads give you the freedom to customize your setup to suit your personal musical style.
Get creative with your sounds using the Playback Sampler
With the FGDP50, you can assign one-shot Samples or short phrases from a USB flash memory to any Pad. This feature allows you to add your own unique sounds to your performance, whether it's a custom drum beat or a special effect. Simply load your desired Samples onto a USB flash memory and easily assign them to the Pads. The playback sampler opens up a world of sonic possibilities, giving you the ability to create truly original and engaging performances.
Session Creator and Note Repeat functionality
The FGDP50 features an auto-accompaniment function called the Session Creator. This handy feature allows you to have bass, guitar, or other instruments play alongside your performance. This creates a full and immersive musical experience, whether you're practising alone or performing for an audience. The Session Creator adds depth and complexity to your music, making your performances sound even more professional and polished.
The Note Repeat feature on the FGDP50 allows you to musically repeat sounds with just one touch. This is perfect for creating rhythmic patterns and adding dynamic flair to your music. Simply press and hold a Pad, and the FGDP50 will automatically repeat the assigned sound at a specific rate. This feature is especially useful in genres like electronic music, hip-hop, and pop where repetitive and rhythmic elements are key.
