About Sennheiser EW-D Wireless Systems
Sennheiser's EW-D range is their cutting-edge professional wireless audio systems designed for live performances, corporate campuses, classrooms, conference halls, and more. The EW-D range features the digital EW-D and the UHF-based EW-DP. Both series are designed with AutoScan to quickly and easily find a clean channel, using equidistant channel spacing of 600 kHz to provide simple frequency co-ordination and a higher channel count. Remote control tools like Sennheiser's Control Cockpit, Wireless Systems Manager, and Smart Assist App help you monitor, configure, and control your system, alerting you to issues as they arise and letting you deal with them without interrupting the show.
Meanwhile the EW-DP series is designed with portable use in mind, making it great for broadcasting, content creation, interviews, and videography or filmmaking of all kinds. A successor to Sennheiser's G4 range, the EW-DP's UHF frequency makes it more resistant to interference from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, delivering a clean and clear signal. Their large display and compatibility with the Smart Assist App makes monitoring easier, and this new series boasts better battery life and wider dynamic range than their predecessor. Compatible with bodypack, handheld or plug-on transmitters, the EW-DP can adapt to existing microphones, or the accompanying transmitters within the EW-DP ecosystem.
