Producing a violin that sounds this good takes time - five years in fact. This is the minimum amount of time that the tonewoods are aged for before being chosen. By using the historic combination of a flamed maple body with a solid spruce top produces a focused, powerful sound with plenty of body which will continue to improve over time.
The woods are hand selected based on their age and narrowness of grain, before being hand carved for a sound and appearance full of style. Because of this, no two Nobile violins ever look the same. To complement the body of the instrument, the Nobile is fitted with hill pattern ebony pegs and an ebony tailpiece. To ensure tuning is never an issue, the tailpiece includes a gilt screw e string adjuster.
Often regarded as one of the best carbon fibre bows available, the Codabow Diamond SX bow is perfect for expressing your tone. By merging the traditions of bow making with modern technology, the Diamond SX offers a sophisticated and sleek design.
Built on the foundations of high-quality carbon fibre, the Codabow Diamond SX has the same quality of sound as wooden bows, but without any compromise. Carbon fibre bows don't expand or warp with variations in temperature or humidity, and are much less likely to snap - ideal for touring musicians. For even more peace of mind, the Codabow comes with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty.
The Thomastik Peter Infeld violin string set features platinum plated, aluminium, and silver windings, which add brightness to the overall sound, as well as comfort during play. The strings in this set all feature medium tension gauges for optimum versatility.
This set is ideal for players who wish to concentrate the sound on their own playing style. This set is a popular choice for versatile musicians as it offers unique tones and flexible playability. The chrome steel and synthetic cores are perfect for producing unique tones for an array of musical styles.
The strings deliver instant bow response as well as dominant tuning ability. The strings in this set all have ball ends which are suitable for musicians who require a reliable sound that maintains its voice over time.
Upgrade your style. Transport your violin in confidence with the Hidersine polycarbonate oblong case. Finished with a brushed silver effect, the Hidersine case offers a fresh and contemporary style.
Carry everything you need. The inside of the case can hold up to four bows and even includes a convenient removable accessory pocket. For any larger accessory, you can use the exterior pocket. To ensure your violin fits perfectly, you can use the adjustable velcro straps to match the dimensions of your instrument.
You'll never have issues transporting the case. You can choose from either of the side handles or use the detachable shoulder straps. For extra comfort when commuting, the pocket on the outside doubles as a cushion.
The company was founded in 1890 and has since been the go-to company of bowed instrument maintenance and care. The company really made their mark in this specialist market when they introduced Amy Birch's 'AB' Rosin in 1970 and the legendary W.E.Hill & Sons' rosins in the 1980's.
Hidersine Bowed Instruments round up all of the years of working with instrument luthiers, learning what is required by players at all the different levels of development. Gained from the years of work are the ESTA-chosen (European String Teachers Association), entry-level Vivente student outfit, the advanced Piacenza student outfit, and the degree students choice, the Veracini, plus many more fine instruments.
