No matter how you use the S-Shaped electric violin, it will always deliver a fantastic tone. If you need an instrument where you can practise in near silence, then simply plug in a pair of headphones. The Stagg violin will sound just like a traditional violin, enabling you to practise in confidence, without disturbing those around you. If you'd rather play out loud, then simply plug into an amplifier and jam out to your favourite music.

Traditional feel, contemporary design

Although the S-Shaped body may look vastly different to a traditional violin, once you start playing, you'll bearly notice the difference! Just like an acoustic violin, the Stagg electric has a solid Maple neck and a Maple body. Once it's been finished, the electric violin is finished with a gorgeous metallic red.

The electronics in the violin open up a whole new world of possibilities. On the front of the violin, you can control the sound by using the volume control as well as a two-band EQ. Outputs on the violin include a standard 6.3 mm output jack and 3.5 mm headphone output jack. You can even plug in your MP3 player via another 3.5 mm jack and play along with your favourite music!

Included accessories

Your new Stagg electric violin is supplied as an outfit, meaning it comes complete with everything you need to get started. The included shaped case is covered in a smart black material and is made from styrofoam to offer maximum protection. To ensure that you can carry all of your accessories, the outside of the case features a large pocket - perfect for your sheet music. You can carry the case either via the sturdy handle or by the adjustable and detachable backpack straps. The inside of the case boasts another accessory pocket and two bow holders.

The included round bow offers a quick and easy way to start playing straight away. To make sure you can make the most of the silence practice feature, the Stagg violin also includes a pair of headphones. Also included is a pot of rosin, a 9v battery, and a jack lead so can connect to an amp.
